Editorial Design
Graphic DesignIn 2019, Guthrie News Leader aimed to grow their social media presence and attract more local readers to their paper. I led a full redesign of their annual High School Football Preview. The periodical spotlighted local teams, their schedules and key players near the Guthrie area. Working alongside the editorial staff, I was given full creative control to produce the periodical. This updated publication led to an increase in online engagement and steady growth in ad placements. Ultimately, I think it was cool to be able to highlight these smaller schools with incredible players. Their hard work and effort shouldn’t go ignored.
This is a collection of work I created over the past decade in which I’ve been a designer for Hobby Lobby in the Art Department as well as the Advertising Department. If I’m not working I’m probably rewatching Bob’s Burgers, The Bear, or Craig of the Creek. Musings
Lately I’ve been learning about UI/UX design through the Google UI class. I recently completed the Master Gorgeous UI Design Course created by Pablo Stanley.
