Westchester Records:

Late Night Messages

Album Art
Illustration
In April 2025, I joined Westchester Records, a startup record label, as the lead designer. Since then, I’ve created artwork for over a dozen music projects, ranging from album covers to physical packaging for cassettes and CDs.

My work includes designing artwork for the King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard bootleg series, with custom layouts tailored for both CD and cassette formats. I’ve also collaborated closely with the band Late Night Messages on several of their releases, including The Singles, Imposter Syndrome, and A Collection of Memories. Each project has given me the chance to explore new visual styles while aligning with the artists’ individual sounds and stories.

Imposter Syndrome:

I’ve been using these projects as a way to push my Photoshop and Illustrator skills. For Imposter Syndrome, principal singer-songwriter Jonathan Martinez had a specific vision: he wanted dripping, ink-blob-style typography for the cover, paired with chrome text elements inside the album booklet. I explored texture-heavy designs and experimented with bold, unconventional type treatments to match the album's emotional tone. The final result was a layered, expressive package that captured the spirit of the music, and turned out pretty cool.

The Singles:

The artwork for The Singles was inspired by the traditional Lotería game. Jonathan Martinez provided the creative direction, and I developed the visuals to mirror the look and feel of classic Lotería cards. I stylized and colored the photos to match that aesthetic, then extended the concept into the physical packaging. The CD artwork folds out into a full Lotería board, merging music, design, and cultural storytelling into a tactile, memorable experience.

A Collection of Memories:

Here is another project I worked on in collaboration with Westchester and Late Night Message. This cover was taken by Jonathan, and I was tasked with implementing a design to highlight the photo and apply that look to the rest of the imagery used throughout the project. I was inspired by early Tumblr, lo-fi graphics and mainly cyanotype photography.

About Me

This is a collection of work I created over the past decade in which I’ve been a designer for Hobby Lobby in the Art Department as well as the Advertising Department. If I’m not working I’m probably rewatching Bob’s Burgers, The Bear, or Craig of the Creek.
Musings

Lately I’ve been learning about UI/UX design through the Google UI class. I recently completed the Master Gorgeous UI Design Course created by Pablo Stanley.

My current fascination is: Ms. Jackson & Q-Tip
